Avoid doing IC tasks
As you are joining a team that are probably experts on the subject there is little to no value for you doing IC tasks. It will be very tempting to do them, because as a former IC that’s what you are best at, lets face it, you just became a manager. There will often be times where you will want to do this one-liner, but it’s not worth your time.
Nonetheless, you might want to consider getting your hands dirty in some extreme situations. (todo)
